Nankai Electric Railway - Kuha 1900 - Queen of the Koya Line

It was on July 19, 1952 that the reserved-seat express train "Kouya" appeared on the Koya Line
At that time, the leading car for the Koyasan direction was the Kuha 1900. This car was born in July 1938 as a "VIP car." With curved glass fitted to the streamlined front end and an observation room with a luxurious sofa in the front half of the car, it served as the queen of the Koya Line before being converted into a regular car
